The mnemonic

Recipe for success of famous memory trainers

You have known the basics of ancient Greek mnemonics at least since your school days - in the form of the well-known "mnemonic bridge". But how does mnemonics work? What makes it so unique?

Two halves of the brain - twice the learning capacity

We mainly use the left hemisphere of the brain for everyday tasks in our private or professional lives. It is responsible for logical, analytical and abstract thinking.

Almost all learning methods (frontal teaching, stubborn memorization) appeal to the left side of the brain, while its colleague on the other side of the head remains largely unused.

The rarely used right hemisphere is home to our creative potential. It reacts with high activity to images, emotions and sounds - attributes that are largely omitted in most learning methods. This distribution is all the more tragic when you know that long-term memory is also located in the right hemisphere of the brain!

The mnemonic technology, with which fingerLINK® for learning the ten-finger system works as a team to address both hemispheres of the brain. With entertaining word/image combinations, sounds and visualizations, it creates stimuli that anchor what has been learned much faster and more permanently in the memory than conventional learning methods.

The mnemonic technique activates the learning capacity of both hemispheres of the brain equally - for impressively fast results!
